Marsanne

A classic variety with it's golden nuances and elegant nose.  The Marsanne is characterized by its elegance

1st Vintage: 2008

Varietal Range: 100 % Marsanne

Color:  Light Yellow

Soil Types: North-facing clay-limestone and limestone

Vinification: Machine harvesting by night. On-skin maceration followed by low-temperature fermentation using selected yeasts 

Tasting Notes: Light straw color, almost green, with moderate acidity and excellent mid-palate richness 

Serving Temperature: 10-12°C / 50-54°F

Storage: Drink within the first 3 years

Food Pairing for the Marsanne. Rich and fruity Marsanne pairs excellently with rich shellfish and the citrus notes make it a great counterpoint to south Asian cuisine. The Marsanne can also be paired with mild hard cheeses.
