Chardonnay - Viognier

The elegance and freshness of Chardonnay meet the subtle apricot notes offered by the Viognier.

1st Vintage: 2010

Varietal Range: Chardonnay & Viognier

Color: Medium Gold

Soil Types: Clay-limestone with gravel in parts

Vinification: Night harvesting by machine. Vatting on the skins followed by low temperature fermentation using selected yeast. Maturation on fine lees

Tasting Notes: Brilliant color with green glints. Expressive, crisp nose with pear notes. Well balanced palate with flavors of wild peach and pear

Serving Temperature: 13-14°C / 55-57°F

Storage: Drink within the first 2-3 years

Food Pairing for the Chardonnay and Viognier blend: Chardonnay is usually predominant in the blend; not with this one. It goes well with roasted chicken, seafood, shellfish, or can be used in a sauce. It is also enjoyable with holiday turkey or ham.
